Opera Australia’s La Boheme Sydney 2016

Opera Australia is currently performing Gale Edward’s wonderful production of La Boheme at the Opera House.

The production has wonderful costumes and set.  Stand out was the transformation of the set from the first to second act the richness of characters and costumes in the second act.

The lead performers all suited their roles and the audience enjoyed the convincing performance of Rodolfo, played by Yosep Kang and Mimi played by Natalie Aroyan.

I enjoyed the balance between humour and drama as the story line developed and unfolded.

For me the whole storyline, score and wonderful production came tougher very nicely and I very much enjoyed the night.
