Orana Restaurant Rundle Street East, Adelaide.

I recently had dinner at Orana restaurant.  It is well known for it’s degustation called “Alkoopina”.

It took us 4 hours to get to the end, and could have easily taken longer, except we thought we had to vacate our table for the late diners; luckily another table left before us.

About 16 dishes arrived at our table in relative quick succession, especially early on, when the dishes were nicely named “snacks”.

Many ingredients from around Australia and local sources were used, many of which I never heard of and will never see again.

So whilst eating the meal there was a lot to digest, mentally.  It has been since then though that I have reflected very fondly of the night and the experience; I think well measured by the fact I sat still on my chair for 4 hours.
