The Australian Ballet’s 2015 The Dream

This year I was very lucky to see the Australian Ballet’s The Dream program in Sydney and Adelaide.

I really enjoyed the music and choreography of Ashton’s Monotones II and Symphonic Variations.

I thought The Dream was delightful, especially the character of Puck.  Marcus Morelli did a wonderful job in the Adelaide performance and Brett Chynoweth in Sydney.  I found the story line and character development of Titania and Oberon a bit lacking.
