Time out

After a very busy 2017, I decided to take some time off from medicine to re group and get life back in balance.

It’s been wonderful being able to slow down and take time to enjoy the important aspects in my life including my kids, my health, exercise, rest and horses.

This has been the first time in my life I’ve had such a good break from go, go, go, do, do, do, think, think, think, help, help, help and it’s not until I was 4-5 months into the break that I really got a sense of my brain winding down.

I have been busy, but have allocated a lot of rest time, to let my body and brain and emotions recover from a very crazy 10 years.

It’s also given me clarity on what’s important in life and how I want to shape my future to be happy and joyous and healthy.

What’s the plan right now…try and enjoy the moments.
